Brighton to Bangkok: Fin Jones
What inspired you to take the leap from Brighton to Bangkok and pursue a career in modeling?
"Thanks for having me! It was a spontaneous decision, really. While I was on holiday in Bangkok, I was approached by a talent scout who saw potential in me. The vibrant culture, the energy of the city, and the opportunity to explore something new made it an easy choice."
You've been in Bangkok for two years, can you share some highlights from your journey so far, especially in the world of fashion?
"Absolutely, the journey has been amazing. I've had the chance to walk the runway at Bangkok Fashion Week, which was a surreal experience. Collaborating with cool brands has been wild.. But perhaps the biggest highlight has been the people I've met, the people man; they've all been incredibly inspiring."
It's clear that you've made significant moves in the scene. But I've heard whispers about your music project. What you've been working on?
"Of course! Music has always been a passion of mine, and while I've been in Bangkok, I've been secretly working on a project. It's a blend of electronic and indie vibes with a touch of the exotic sounds I've been immersed in here. I can't reveal too much yet, but I'm super excited to share it with everyone soon."
Buzzing! Balancing a modeling career with music must be quite the challenge. How do you find the balance and keep your creative juices flowing?
"It's definitely a juggling act! Both modeling and music are creative outlets for me. I find that they actually complement each other. Modeling inspires my music, and vice versa. Plus, living in a city as dynamic as Bangkok keeps me constantly inspired. Bangkok's rich culture, the juxtaposition of tradition and modernity, and the diversity of people I've encountered here have all played a role. The city's energy and colors are reflected in my work. It's a constant source of inspiration, whether I'm in front of a camera or in the studio."
And finally, what's next on your horizon?
"Well, the music project is definitely something to look out for. I'm also planning to explore more of Southeast Asia, both for work and personal adventures. Who knows what collaborations and experiences the future holds? I'm ready to embrace it all."
